A FEMA registration table has now been set up at the exit of the Lowes in Palatka at 500 North State Road 19, Palatka, FL 32177. If you haven't signed up for FEMA yet you don't have much time left -- FEMA registration will be ending at the beginning of November.You should bring you Social Security Number, Insurance Information, Damage Information, Financial Information, Contact Information, and Direct Deposit Information.Putnam County Disaster Recovery Center IS STILL OPEN: If you have received damage and need assistance due to Hurricane Irma and have yet to register with FEMA, you have several options. You can apply for Individual Assistance (IA) online at www.disasterassistance.gov, you can call 1-800-621-3362 to apply over the phone, visit the Lowes mentioned above, or you can go to the Disaster Recovery Center at the Putnam County Fairgrounds over the next two weeks. The address is 118 Fairgrounds Rd., East Palatka from 8am – 8pm. Staff from FEMA will be there to answer questions and review cases if you have questions.For citizens needing transportation to the center, you can call Ride Solutions to schedule transportation.
