Code Enforcement Board
This is a quasi-judiciary Board created pursuant to F.S. Ch 162, and enforces and has jurisdiction over the Palatka Municipal Code. This is a volunteer board whose mission is to promote, protect and improve the health , safety and welfare of the citizens of the city by providing an equitable, expeditious , effective and inexpensive method of enforcing the Codes of the City described in Chapter 2, Article V of the Palatka Municipal Code. This board meets monthly on the 4th Wednesday of the Month at 4:00 p.m., at City Hall, 201 N. 2nd Street, Palatka. The board consists of seven members plus two alternate members, appointed by the City Commission. Members serve 3 year terms. All members are residents of the City of Palatka and whenever possible are experts in certain fields as described in Sec. 2-284 of the Palatka municipal Code.
