Meetings
Meetings are held at 4pm on the 1st Tuesday of every month. Meetings are located at City Hall, 201 N. 2nd Street, Palatka, FL.
Membership
Palatka City Commission requires that members either live in the city limits or own a business in the city limits. Members serve 3-year terms. Members have jurisdiction over certain provisions of the Palatka Municipal Code, which relate to land use and zoning, and the granting of variances of related provisions of the code. About the Board
The purpose of this Board is to make recommendations to the City Commission on:
- Annexations, zoning ordinances, and amendments to the Official Land Use Map
- Subdivision plats
- Street dedications
- Utility privileges
- Any other such related land use and/or planning issues as directed by the City Commission
Planning Board Code
Section 54-33 states ". . .It is not a necessary qualification for service on the city planning board that the appointee shall be a qualified elector of the city."
