The goal of the project is to support a vibrant pedestrian environment where residents and visitors can shop, dine, and play in an irresistible and memorable setting. Five core values emerged from community feedback during the Craft Beer Festival held in October 2019: pride of ownership, vibrant nightlife, careful process of construction that minimizes impact to businesses, bringing the history of Palatka to life.
Below are the conceptual design graphics (October 2020) and property owners, business operators, and the public are invited to provide input on the St. Johns Avenue Reimagining placemaking project. The conceptual design graphics can also be downloaded in pdf format from the link below. On November 18 and 19, 2020 stakeholders will be given a variety of opportunities to provide input on the project.
