Help us support National Domestic Violence Awareness Month and Breast Cancer Awareness Month at the City's Fall Festival on Saturday, Oct. 27. We begin at 10:00 am with a Breast Cancer Walk and end at 2:00 pm, with lots of fun and food in between.  The event will provide lots of entertainment and numerous activities geared towards adults and children alike.

October is National Domestic Violence Awareness Month.  During this month, local organizations join together to promote greater public awareness about domestic violence. This month provides an excellent opportunity for the Palatka Police Department to demonstrate its support in ending domestic violence and show support to the numerous victims who are among us.  Moreover, it is a wonderful opportunity to educate the public on the seriousness of domestic violence and the prevalence of this epidemic in our lives. We ask you to consider supporting the community during National Domestic Violence Awareness Month by joining the Palatka Police Department during the Fall Festivalwhich is geared towards bringing awareness to domestic violence in our community   Join us and help us make our message loud and clear!  

October is also Breast Cancer Awareness Month.  The Palatka PAL Mentoring Program will coordinate games and prizes on behalf of the Breast Cancer Walk, which opens the Festival.

Participate by coming out and providing the public with information pertaining to your particular public service during this event.       Proceeds from the Festival will be donated to the Lee Conlee House.  Come for an exciting day of fun, entertainment, and most of all awareness of community issues of domestic violence and .
