NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS 

FOR ANNEXATION, FUTURE LAND USE MAP AMENDMENT AND REZONING

 

NOTICE is hereby given that the Palatka, Florida City Commission will hear Ordinances 2021-33, 2021-34 and 2021-35 at its regular meeting on October 14, 2021 at 6:00 p.m. and Ordinances 2021-33 and 2021-35, at its regular meeting on October 28, 2021 at 6:00 p.m. at City Hall, 201 N. 2nd St., Palatka, FL., 32177. The meetings will also be streamed live on the City’s YouTube page https://tinyurl.com/y3e2tee4 

Ordinance No. 2021-33 is an annexation of an approximately 0.67-acres into the City of Palatka as follows: 

AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PALATKA, FLORIDA ANNEXING INTO THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE CITY OF PALATKA, FLORIDA CERTAIN ADJACENT TERRITORY IDENTIFIED AS 2901 REID ST., PALATKA, FL 32177, SIMPKINS OF SIMPKINS MB2 P31, PT OF BLK 5 BK210 P134 OR206, P350, CONTIGUOUS TO THE BOUNDARIES OF THE CITY OF PALATKA; PROVIDING FOR SCRIVENER’S ERRORS; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

 

Ordinance No. 2021-34 is an amendment of the Future Land Use Map of the City of Palatka for an approximately 0.67-acres:  

AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PALATKA, FLORIDA, PROVIDING THAT THE FUTURE LAND USE MAP OF THE ADOPTED COMPREHENSIVE PLAN BE AMENDED WITH RESPECT TO THE FOLLOWING PARCEL OF LAND (LESS THAN 50 ACRES IN SIZE): FROM PUTNAM COUNTY COMMERCIAL (CR) TO CITY OF PALATKA COMMERCIAL (COM) FOR THE FOLLOWING PROPERTY: 2901 REID ST., PALATKA, FL 32177, SIMPKINS OF SIMPKINS MB2 P31, PT OF BLK 5 BK210 P134 OR206, P350, CONTIGUOUS TO THE BOUNDARIES OF THE CITY OF PALATKA; AND PROVIDING FOR SCRIVENER’S ERRORS; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

 

Ordinance No. 2021-35 is for rezoning of an approximately 0.67-acre property:  

AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PALATKA, FLORIDA PROVIDING THAT THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF PALATKA, FLORIDA BE AMENDED FROM PUTNAM COUNTY INTENSIVE COMMERCIAL (C-4) TO CITY OF PALATKA INTENSIVE COMMERCIAL (C-2) FOR THE FOLLOWING PROPERTY: 2901 REID ST., PALATKA, FL 32177, SIMPKINS OF SIMPKINS MB2 P31, PT OF BLK 5 BK210 P134 OR206, P350 PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; PROVIDING FOR SCRIVENER’S ERRORS; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

All interested persons are hereby advised of such consideration by the City Commission and all interested parties may appear at said meeting at said time and place and be heard with respect to the proposed ordinances. This notice is given in accordance with FS 171.044 & FS 163.3187(2).
