NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS FOR REZONING

NOTICE is hereby given the City Commission of the City of Palatka, Florida, will hear Ordinances 2023-02, 03, and 04  at its regular meetings at 6:00 PM on January 26, 2023 and February 9, 2023 at City Hall, 201 N. 2nd St., Palatka, FL, 32177

Ordinance 2023-02 is to rezone approximately 3.26 acres as follows:

AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PALATKA, FLORIDA PROVIDING THAT THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF PALATKA, FLORIDA BE AMENDED FROM CITY OF PALATKA RESIDENTIAL, SINGLE FAMILY (R-1AA) TO CITY OF PALATKA RESIDENTIAL, SINGLE FAMILY (R-1A) FOR THE FOLLOWING PROPERTY: 1900 MOSELEY AVE, PALATKA, FL 32177, GOLF CLUB HEIGHTS MB3 P124 ALL OF BLK 1 CLOSED ALLEY, SOUTH PORTION OF SIWONAY ST + THAT PORTION OF CLEVELAND AV BLOCK 6 LOTS 9, 10, 11 + 12 THAT N PART OF CLOSED SIWANAY ST + CLOSED CLEVELAND AV + CLOSED ALLEY BLK 7 LOTS 7 + 8, PORTION OF CLOSED + ABANDONED ROADS; PALMACEIA ST + CLEVELAND AV + ALLEY OR258 P471 OR181 P145 & OR1124 P1837 PARCEL B, PARCEL NO.: 13-10-26-3170-0010-0000, PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; PROVIDING FOR SCRIVENER’S ERRORS; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

Ordinance 2023-03 is for amendment of the Future Land Use Map of the City of Palatka:   

AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PALATKA, FLORIDA, PROVIDING THAT THE FUTURE LAND USE MAP OF THE ADOPTED COMPREHENSIVE PLAN BE AMENDED WITH RESPECT TO THE FOLLOWING PARCEL OF LAND (LESS THAN 50 ACRES IN SIZE): FROM CITY OF PALATKA COMMERCIAL (COM) TO CITY OF PALATKA RESIDENTIAL LOW (RL) FOR THE FOLLOWING PROPERTY: A PORTION OF 7341 CRILL AVE., PALATKA, FL 32177, DESCRIBED AS LOT 4, LYING IN AND BEING A PART OF THE SE ¼ OF THE SW ¼ OF SEC 9, TOWNSHIP 10 SOUTH, RANGE 26 EAST, PUTNAM COUNTY, FLORIDA,; PROVIDING FOR SCRIVENER’S ERRORS; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

Ordinance No. 2023-04 is for rezoning of property subject to Ordinance 2023-03:  

 

AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PALATKA, FLORIDA PROVIDING THAT THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF PALATKA, FLORIDA BE AMENDED FROM CITY OF PALATKA GENERAL COMMERCIAL, (C-1) TO CITY OF PALATKA SINGLE FAMILY DISTRICT, (R-1)  FOR THE FOLLOWING PROPERTY: A PORTION OF 7341 CRILL AVE., PALATKA, FL 32177, DESCRIBED AS LOT 4, A PARCEL OF LAND LYING IN AND BEING A PART OF THE SE ¼ OF THE SW ¼ OF SEC 9, TOWNSHIP 10 SOUTH, RANGE 26 EAST, PUTNAM COUNTY, FLORIDA; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; PROVIDING FOR SCRIVENER’S ERRORS; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

All interested persons are hereby advised of such consideration by the City Commission and all interested parties may appear at said meeting at said time and place and be heard with respect to the proposed ordinances. This notice is given in accordance with FS 171.044 & FS 163.3187(2).
