NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS FOR ANNEXATION, FUTURE LAND USE MAP AMENDMENT AND REZONING


 

NOTICE is hereby given the Palatka City Commission will hold public hearings to consider the enactment of the following Ordinances at City Hall 201 N. 2nd St., Palatka, FL 32177 

December 14, 2023 at 6:00 PM

First Hearing: Ordinances 2023-39, -41, -42, -44 

Enactment/Adoption Hearing: Ordinances 2023-40 and -43

Ordinance 2023-39 is for the annexation of three parcels approximating 3.73+/- acres into the City of Palatka as follows: AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PALATKA, FLORIDA ANNEXING INTO THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE CITY OF PALATKA, FLORIDA CERTAIN ADJACENT TERRITORY IDENTIFIED AS PARCELS 02-10-26-0000-0260-0010, 02-10-26-0000-0261-0000 AND 02-10-26-0000-0262-0000 LOCATED AT 3510 REID STREET, 3524 REID STREET, AND 115 PHILLIPS DAIRY ROAD AND CONTIGUOUS TO THE BOUNDARIES OF THE CITY OF PALATKA; PROVIDING FOR SCRIVENER’S ERRORS; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

 

Ordinance 2023-40 is for amendment of the Future Land Use Map of the City of Palatka:   AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PALATKA, FLORIDA, PROVIDING THAT THE FUTURE LAND USE MAP OF THE ADOPTED COMPREHENSIVE PLAN BE AMENDED WITH RESPECT TO THE FOLLOWING PARCELS OF LAND (LESS THAN 50 ACRES IN SIZE) FROM PUTNAM COUNTY COMMERCIAL (CR) TO CITY OF PALATKA COMMERCIAL (COM) FOR THE FOLLOWING PROPERTY LOCATED AT 3510 REID STREET, 3524 REID STREET, AND 115 PHILLIPS DAIRY ROAD, PALATKA, FL 32177, PARCEL NOS.: 02-10-26-0000-0260-0010, 02-10-26-0000-0261-0000 AND 02-10-26-0000-0262-0000, CONTIGUOUS TO THE BOUNDARIES OF THE CITY OF PALATKA; AND PROVIDING FOR SCRIVENER’S ERRORS; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

 

Ordinance 2023-41 is for rezoning said property: AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PALATKA, FLORIDA PROVIDING THAT THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF PALATKA, FLORIDA BE AMENDED FROM PUTNAM COUNTY GENERAL COMMERCIAL LIGHT (C-2), PUTNAM COUNTY GENERAL COMMERCIAL (C-3), AND PUTNAM COUNTY INDUSTRIAL LIGHT (IL) TO CITY OF PALATKA INTENSIVE COMMERCIAL (C-2)  FOR THE FOLLOWING PROPERTY LOCATED AT 3510 REID STREET, 3524 REID STREET, AND 115 PHILLIPS DAIRY ROAD, PALATKA, FL 32177, PARCEL NOS.: 02-10-26-0000-0260-0010, 02-10-26-0000-0261-0000 AND 02-10-26-0000-0262-0000, PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; PROVIDING FOR SCRIVENER’S ERRORS; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

Ordinance 2023-42 is for the annexation of an approximately 20.82+/- acre property into the City of Palatka as follows: AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PALATKA, FLORIDA ANNEXING INTO THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE CITY OF PALATKA, FLORIDA CERTAIN ADJACENT TERRITORY IDENTIFIED AS PARCEL 02-10-26-0000-0190-0010, LOCATED AT 908 NORTH STATE ROAD 19, CONTIGUOUS TO THE BOUNDARIES OF THE CITY OF PALATKA; PROVIDING FOR SCRIVENER’S ERRORS; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

Ordinance 2023-44 is for rezoning said property:  AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PALATKA, FLORIDA PROVIDING THAT THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF PALATKA, FLORIDA BE AMENDED FROM PUTNAM COUNTY AGRICULTURAL (AG) AND PUTNAM COUNTY GENERAL COMMERCIAL (C-2) TO CITY OF PALATKA INTENSIVE COMMERCIAL (C-2)  FOR THE FOLLOWING PROPERTY LOCATED AT 908 NORTH STATE ROAD 19, PALATKA, FL 32177, PARCEL NO.: 02-10-26-0000-0190-0010, PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; PROVIDING FOR SCRIVENER’S ERRORS; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
