Sealed bids will be received until 2:00 P.M.EDT, on Thursday April 15, 2021 at the City Hall, 201 N. 2 Street, Palatka, FL 32177 and then publicly opened and read at 2:00 P.M. at the Commission Chamber, for furnishing all labor, materials and equipment and performing all work necessary to construct the following: TAXIWAY A (PHASE 2 - WEST SECTION) PAVEMENT AND LIGHTING REHABILITATION THE PROJECT INCLUDES PAVEMENT, DRAINAGE AND LIGHTING REHABILITATION ALONG PORTIONS OF TAXIWAY A & B. PAVEMENT REHABILITATION INCLUDES ASPHALT OVERLAY OF 1,350 LF X 35 FEET WIDE WEST END TAXIWAY A, 150 LF X 35 FEET WIDE TAXIWAY A WITHIN THE RUNWAY 17-35 SAFETY AREA (RSA), AND 320 LF X 35 FEET WIDE TAXIWAY B AT TAXIWAY A INTERSECTION. NEW PAVEMENT CONSTRUCTION INCLUDES TAXIWAY TURNING FILLETS ON THE WEST END OF TAXIWAY A. STORMWATER MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (DRAINAGE) MODIFICATIONS
WILL BE REQUIRED TO ACCOMMODATE THE NEW PAVEMENT CONSTRUCTION ON THE WEST END OF TAXIWAY A. LIGHTING AND SIGNAGE REHABILITATION ARE PROPOSED ALONG THE MAJORITY OF TAXIWAY A AND ALONG TAXIWAY B NEAR THE INTERSECTION WITH TAXIWAY A, INCLUDING APPROXIMATELY 200 TAXIWAY EDGE LIGHTS AND 19 LIGHTED SIGNS.

A Pre-Bid Conference will be held at 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, March 23, 2021, in the Airport Terminal Conference Room, 4015 Reid Street (Hwy 100), Palatka, FL 32177. All questions must be submitted in writing to Angela Witt at .
Each bid must be accompanied by a bid guaranty in the amount of five (5) percent of the total amount of the bid. The bid guaranty may be by certified check or bid bond made payable to the City of Palatka.
Bids may be held by the City of Palatka for a period not to exceed 90 days from the date of the bid opening for the purpose of evaluating bids prior to award of contract.
The right is reserved, as the City of Palatka may require, to reject any and all bids and to waive any informality in the bids received.
