RUNWAY & TAXILANE IMPROVEMENTS
PALATKA MUNCIPAL AIRPORT
Sealed bids for the Palatka, Florida Municipal Airport Runway & Taxilane Improvements project will be received at City of Palatka Commission Chambers, City Hall, 201 N. Second St., Palatka, FL 32177, until 2:15 pm, local time, Thursday, June 29, 2017 and there, at said office, at said time, publicly opened and read aloud. Bids CLEARLY MARKED ITB No. 2017-09 shall be submitted in a sealed envelope.
Base Bid 1 – Runway & Taxilane Improvements includes:
• Runway 9-27 & 17-35 Marking Rehabilitation – This project generally consists of eradication/cleaning of existing runway markings and installation of new pavement markings.
• T-Hangar Taxilane Pavement Rehabilitation – This project generally consists of the rejuvenation of existing taxilane asphalt pavement and installation of new pavement markings.
Bid Additive 1A - Runway 17-35 & Taxiway C-3 Pavement & Lighting Rehabilitation – This project generally consists of minor site regrading and installation of new taxiway edge lights.
Prevailing wage rates and DBE participation are applicable for Bid Additive 1A only. Contractors must be bonded and insured to the level indicated in the Contract Documents.
A complete set of Bid Documents, consisting of the General Provisions, Special Provisions, Technical Specifications, Bid, Agreement and Contract Drawings, will be available on Thursday, June 1, 2017 and may be obtained from Passero Associates at www.passero.com under the ‘BID’ tab for a fee of $50.00 (Non-refundable); and from the following sources:

A Mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held at the Palatka Municipal Airport on Thursday, June 8, 2017 at 2:00 pm.
Technical questions shall be directed to Mary Gniech of Passero Associates () and must be received no later than June 15, 2017.
Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond, in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total maximum bid price (combination of base bid or alternate bid plus add-on items) for the contract in the form and subject to the conditions provided in the Preparation of Proposal.
