INVITATION TO BID
PALATKA HEIGHTS WATER MAIN IMPROVEMENTS
Notice is hereby given that the City of Palatka, Florida, will receive sealed bids at the office of the City Clerk, City Hall, City of Palatka, 201 North 2nd Street, Palatka, FL 32177 until 3:30 pm EST on April 14, 2020 for the following project: Palatka Heights Water Main Improvements CDBG N32. Any bids received after the specified time and date will not be considered.
A non-mandatory pre-bid conference has been scheduled for March 26, 2020 at 10:00 am EST. The pre-bid conference will be held at City Hall, 201 North 2nd Street, Palatka, FL, 32177.
Bidding documents may be examined at Hanson Professional Services, Inc., 8075 Gate Parkway West, Suite 204, Jacksonville, FL 32216, (904)-737-0090; contact Daryl Myers . Copies of the bid documents may be obtained at engineer’s office for $40.00 dollars per set (hard copy) or electronic copies (PDF) can be emailed at no charge. Checks for hard copies of the bid documents shall be made payable to Hanson Professional Services, Inc. Payment is non-refundable and constitutes the cost of reproduction and handling.
The project is being financed through the Small Cities Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program in the Neighborhood Revitalization Category. The CDBG program is administered by the State of Florida Department of Economic Opportunities.
Attention of Bidders is particularly called to the requirements as to conditions of employment to be observed and minimum wage rates to be paid under the Contract, Section 3, Segregated Facilities, Section 109 Executive Order 11246, and all applicable laws and regulations of the Federal government and Sate of Florida, and bonding and insurance requirements.
