The City of Palatka is partnering with Florida Fish & Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) to host its 1st Annual Boaters Safety Education Course this Saturday, November 9th from 10 a.m. to noon at the St. Johns River Center, 102 North 1st Street, Palatka, FL 32177.
The course is FREE and open to the public. No experience required.
Educational topics will include:
- Anchoring
- Navigation Rules
- Safety Equipment
- Reading Charts
- Global Positioning Systems (GPS)
- Question & Answer Session
