Palatka City Manager Bill Shanahan will host a series of three Public Engagement Meetings within the next few weeks. The purpose of these meetings is to engage with citizens and the business community on the current state of the City, planning for future growth, and to take local input on where and how Palatka wants or needs to grow and develop. According to Shanahan, “I want to talk with the citizens and business community about the City and get their input on future direction.”
The second of these meetings will be held in conjunction with the Palatka Arts Council Gallery Opening for Judi Cain's "Life is Art" Exhibit at the Larimer Arts Center, 216 Reid Street, Palatka, on January 10th. The event begins at 5:30 p.m. Come meet the artist, browse her works, and meet with City Manager Shanahan as he seeks input on making Palatka a better, more responsive place to live, work and play.
The public is invited and encouraged to attend.
