[ARCHIVED] CITY OF PALATKA OFFICES CLOSED FOR MARTIN LUTHER KING DAY; SANITATION PICK-UP SCHEDULE

Palatka City Hall, Planning, Building & Zoning, Public Works, Cemeteries and other administrative offices will be closed on Monday, January 20th, 2020 in observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.  No residential garbage will be collected and no utility cut-offs will be made during the holiday closure.  As always, utility payments may be made online at www.palatkagasauthority.com or by phone at 1-866-869-5955 (you will need your pay ID#).

For water or public works emergencies, customers can call 386-329-0109

Please note the following Sanitation Holiday Pick Up Schedule: 

  • Week of Jan. 20th, there will be no pickup on Monday.  Regular Monday pickup will be made on Tuesday. 
  • Commercial customers will receive regularly scheduled service.

 City Administrative Offices will reopen as usual on Tuesday, January 21st 8:30 a.m.

Please join the community for the Martin Luther King, Jr. Day Festival and Parade on Monday, 1/20/20.  The Parade begins at 10 a.m. at Bethal AME Church, ending at the Riverfront Park. Festival activities will be held at the Riverfront Park from 11 am to 4 pm.  For more information, contact Putnam County African American Cultural Arts Council.
