Due to a loss of pressure in your area, there is the possibility that the drinking water in your neighborhood has become contaminated with harmful bacteria.   You are hereby advised to boil any water that is to be used for human consumption for a period of at least 3 (three) minutes before using.  Boiling the water will destroy any harmful microorganisms that may be present in the water.  The water may still be safely used for washing and laundering.

We will be conducting bacteriological testing on the water in your area to insure that it has not been contaminated.  As soon as we receive the testing results indicating that the water is safe to drink you will be notified.

We apologize for the inconvenience. However, the safety of our consumers is of paramount importance to us.  If you have any questions please feel free to contact the City Of Palatka Water Plant at (386) 329 0144.
