NOTICE is hereby given that the City Commission of the City of Palatka, Florida, will hear Ordinances 21-02, 21-03 and 21-04 at its regular meeting on April 22, 2021 and Ordinances 21-02 and 21-04 at its meeting on May 13, 2021 at 6:00 p.m. at City Hall, 201 N. 2nd ST., Palatka, FL. The meetings will also be streamed live on the City’s YouTube page https://tinyurl.com/y3e2tee4. 

Ordinance No. 21-02 is for the annexation of an approximately 0.36-acre property into the City of Palatka as follows: 

AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PALATKA, FLORIDA ANNEXING INTO THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE CITY OF PALATKA, FLORIDA CERTAIN ADJACENT TERRITORY IDENTIFIED AS 2702 CECILLE AVE., PALATKA, FL 32177 HUSSONS ADDITION TO PALATKA, HEIGHTS MB1 PGS 18 + 19 BLK 4, PT OF LOT 4 OR482 P1439, CONTIGUOUS TO THE BOUNDARIES OF THE CITY OF PALATKA; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

Ordinance No. 21-03 is for amendment of the Future Land Use Map of the City of Palatka:  

AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PALATKA, FLORIDA, PROVIDING THAT THE FUTURE LAND USE MAP OF THE ADOPTED COMPREHENSIVE PLAN BE AMENDED WITH RESPECT TO THE FOLLOWING PARCEL OF LAND (LESS THAN 10 ACRES IN SIZE): FROM PUTNAM COUNTY URBAN SERVICE (US) TO CITY OF PALATKA R-1 FOR THE FOLLOWING PROPERTY: 2702 CECILLE AVE., PALATKA, FL 32177 HUSSONS ADDITION TO PALATKA, HEIGHTS MB1 PGS 18 + 19 BLK 4, PT OF LOT 4 OR482 P1439, CONTIGUOUS TO THE BOUNDARIES OF THE CITY OF PALATKA; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

Ordinance No. 21-04 is for rezoning said property:  

AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PALATKA, FLORIDA PROVIDING THAT THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF PALATKA, FLORIDA BE AMENDED FROM PUTNAM COUNTY RESIDENTIAL-1A (R-1A) TO CITY OF PALATKA SINGLE-FAMILY RESIDENTIAL (R-1A) FOR THE FOLLOWING PROPERTY: 2702 CECILLE AVE., PALATKA, FL 32177 HUSSONS ADDITION TO PALATKA, HEIGHTS MB1 PGS 18 + 19 BLK 4, PT OF LOT 4 OR482 P1439. PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

Attached is a map of the subject property. The complete legal description and the proposed ordinances can be obtained from the office of the City Clerk. All interested persons are hereby advised of such consideration by the City Commission and all interested parties may appear at said meeting at said time and place and be heard with respect to the proposed ordinances. This notice is given in accordance with FS 171.044 & FS 163.3187(2).
