NOTICE is hereby given that the City Commission of the City of Palatka, Florida, has rescheduled the second public hearing of Ordinances 21-06 and 21-08 to its special called meeting on June 14, 2021 at 4:00 p.m. at City Hall, 201 N. 2nd ST., Palatka, FL. The meeting will also be streamed live on the City’s YouTube page https://tinyurl.com/y3e2tee4. 

Ordinance No. 21-06 is for the annexation of an approximately 1.53-acre property into the City of Palatka as follows: 

AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PALATKA, FLORIDA ANNEXING INTO THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE CITY OF PALATKA, FLORIDA CERTAIN ADJACENT TERRITORY IDENTIFIED AS 3201 CRILL AVENUE, PT OF SE 1/4 BK 183 P 568 (EX, OR 264 P 566, RD), AND 3203 CRILL AVENUE PT OF NE 1/4 OF NE 1/4 OF SE, 1/4 BK 168 P 430 CONTIGUOUS TO THE BOUNDARIES OF THE CITY OF PALATKA; PROVIDING FOR SCRIVENER’S ERRORS; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

Ordinance No. 21-08 is for rezoning said property:  

AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PALATKA, FLORIDA PROVIDING THAT THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF PALATKA, FLORIDA BE AMENDED FROM PUTNAM COUNTY COMMERCIAL RETAIL (C-2) TO CITY OF PALATKA COMMERCIAL INTENSIVE (C-2) FOR THE FOLLOWING PROPERTIES: 3201 CRILL AVENUE, PT OF SE 1/4 BK 183 P 568 (EX, OR 264 P 566, RD), AND 3203 CRILL AVENUE PT OF NE 1/4 OF NE 1/4 OF SE, 1/4 BK 168 P 430 CONTIGUOUS TO THE BOUNDARIES OF THE CITY OF PALATKA PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; PROVIDING FOR SCRIVENER’S ERRORS; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

Below is a map of the subject property, the complete legal description and the proposed ordinances can be obtained from the office of the City Clerk. All interested persons are hereby advised of such consideration by the City Commission and all interested parties may appear at said meeting at said time and place and be heard with respect to the proposed ordinances. This notice is given in accordance with FS 171.044 & FS 163.3187(2).
