NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS FOR ANNEXATION, FUTURE LAND USE MAP AMENDMENT AND REZONING

 NOTICE is hereby given that the City Commission of the City of Palatka, Florida, will hear Ordinances 2021-27, 2021-28 and 2021-29 at its regular meeting on August 26, 2021 at 6:00 p.m. Ordinances 2021-27 and 2021-29, at its regular meeting on September 9, 2021 at 6:00 p.m. at City Hall, 201 N. 2nd ST., Palatka, FL., 32177. Ordinance No. 2021-27 is for the annexation of an approximately 16.91-acre property into the City of Palatka as follows: 

AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PALATKA, FLORIDA ANNEXING INTO THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE CITY OF PALATKA, FLORIDA CERTAIN ADJACENT TERRITORY IDENTIFIED AS 6131 CRILL AVE., E 18AC OF NE1/4 OF SW1/4 (EX, OR875 P1521RD), CONTIGUOUS TO THE BOUNDARIES OF THE CITY OF PALATKA; PROVIDING FOR SCRIVENER’S ERRORS; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

Ordinance No. 2021-28 is for amendment of the Future Land Use Map of the City of Palatka for an approximately 16.91-acre property:  

AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PALATKA, FLORIDA, PROVIDING THAT THE FUTURE LAND USE MAP OF THE ADOPTED COMPREHENSIVE PLAN BE AMENDED WITH RESPECT TO THE FOLLOWING PARCEL OF LAND (LESS THAN 50 ACRES IN SIZE): FROM PUTNAM COUNTY URBAN RESERVE (UR) TO CITY OF PALATKA RESIDENTIAL MEDIUM DENSITY (RM) FOR THE FOLLOWING PROPERTY: 6131 CRILL AVE., E 18AC OF NE1/4 OF SW1/4 (EX, OR875 P1521RD),  CONTIGUOUS TO THE BOUNDARIES OF THE CITY OF PALATKA; PROVIDING FOR SCRIVENER’S ERRORS; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

Ordinance No. 2021-29 is for rezoning of an approximately 16.91-acre property:  

AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PALATKA, FLORIDA PROVIDING THAT THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF PALATKA, FLORIDA BE AMENDED FROM PUTNAM COUNTY AGRICULTURE (AG) TO CITY OF PALATKA RESIDENTIAL - 3 (R-3) FOR THE FOLLOWING PROPERTY: 6131 CRILL AVE., E 18AC OF NE1/4 OF SW1/4 (EX, OR875 P1521RD), PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; PROVIDING FOR SCRIVENER’S ERRORS; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

This notice is given in accordance with FS 171.044 & FS 163.3187(2).
