NOTICE is hereby given that the Planning Board and the City Commission of the City of Palatka, Florida, will consider first reading for the purpose of transmittal of the following entitled draft/proposed Ordinance 2021-31 to the Florida Department of Economic Opportunity, which contains proposed amendments to the City of Palatka Comprehensive Plan which are necessary to reflect changes in state requirements which have occurred since the City last updated its Comprehensive Plan as mandated by Ch. 2021-195 Laws of Florida:
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PALATKA, FLORIDA, AMENDING THE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN BY ADDING A NEW PROPERTY RIGHTS ELEMENT; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTING ORDINANCES; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; PROVIDING FOR SCRIVENER’S ERRORS; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE
This matter will be heard at the Planning Board meeting to be held at 4:00 p.m. on September 7, 2021 and the City Commission meeting to be held at 6:00 p.m. on the September 9, 2021 at City Hall, 201 N. 2nd St., Palatka, FL 32177. Said proposed Ordinance may be inspected by the public at City Hall during regular hours of business. All interested persons are hereby advised of such consideration by the City Commission and all interested parties may appear at said meeting at said time and place and be heard with respect to the proposed ordinance. This notice is given in accordance with F.S. 166.041.
