NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS FOR FUTURE LAND USE MAP AMENDMENT AND REZONING

 

NOTICE is hereby given the City Commission of the City of Palatka, Florida, will consider the enactment of Ordinances 2022-17, 2022-18, 2022-19, 2022-20, 2022-21, and 2022-22 at its meeting on October 13, 2022, at 6:00 p.m. and Ordinances 2022-18, 2022-20, and 2022-22 at its meeting on October 27, 2022, at 6:00 p.m. at City Hall, 201 N. 2nd ST., Palatka, FL. 32177.

Ordinance No. 2022-17 is for amendment of the Future Land Use Map of the City of Palatka:  

AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PALATKA, FLORIDA, PROVIDING THAT THE FUTURE LAND USE MAP OF THE ADOPTED COMPREHENSIVE PLAN BE AMENDED WITH RESPECT TO THE FOLLOWING PARCEL OF LAND (LESS THAN 50 ACRES IN SIZE): FROM CITY OF PALATKA RESIDENTIAL HIGH (RH) TO CITY OF PALATKA COMMERCIAL (COM) FOR THE FOLLOWING PROPERTY: 429 KIRBY STREET, PALATKA, FL 32177, DICKS MAP OF PALATKA MB2 P46, BLK 45 S 38 1/3FT OF W 99 1/2, FT OF LOT 5, PARCEL NO.: 42-10-27-6850-0450-0050, WITHIN THE BOUNDARIES OF THE CITY OF PALATKA; AND PROVIDING FOR SCRIVENER’S ERRORS; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

Ordinance No. 2022-18 is for rezoning said property:  

AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PALATKA, FLORIDA PROVIDING THAT THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF PALATKA, FLORIDA BE AMENDED FROM CITY OF PALATKA RESIDENTIAL, SINGLE FAMILY (R-1) TO CITY OF PALATKA NEIGHBORHOOD COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C-1A)  FOR THE FOLLOWING PROPERTY: 429 KIRBY STREET, PALATKA, FL 32177, DICKS MAP OF PALATKA MB2 P46, BLK 45 S 38 1/3FT OF W 99 1/2, FT OF LOT 5, PARCEL NO.: 42-10-27-6850-0450-0050, PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; PROVIDING FOR SCRIVENER’S ERRORS; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

All interested persons are hereby advised of such consideration by the City Commission and all interested parties may appear at said meeting at said time and place and be heard with respect to the proposed ordinances. This notice is given in accordance with FS 171.044 & FS 163.3187(2).
