RE:          Tropical Storm Nicole;

                City offices closed November 10 and 11, 2022;

                Palatka City Commission meeting rescheduled to Monday November 14, 2022 at 6:00 PM;

                Sand and bag availability

 

A Declaration of Emergency has been issued by the City of Palatka with the approach of Tropical Storm Nicole.

 

Palatka City Hall, Police Department lobby, Public Works, Gas Authority, and other administrative offices of the City of Palatka will be closed beginning at 5:00 PM November 9th and will be closed until reopening on Monday November 14th during regular business hours. Thursday and Friday garbage collection is cancelled.

 

For water or public works emergencies, customers can call 386-329-0107 for assistance. For gas emergencies, call 386-328-1591. For Fire and Police emergencies call 9-1-1. Utility payments may be made online at www.palatkagasauthority.com or by phone at-1-866-869-5955, (you will need your pay ID #).

 

 

Sand and bags are available now and will be available on November 9, 2022 at 100 N. 11th Street, on first-come, first-served, self-service basis.

 

The Palatka City Commission meeting previously scheduled for November 10, 2022 at 6:00 PM has been cancelled and a special called Palatka City Commission meeting has been scheduled for November 14, 2022 at 6:00 PM at City Hall, 201 N. 2nd Street.

 

The public presentation of AE Engineering of the business incubator and feasibility study previously scheduled for 6:00 PM at City Hall on November 9, 2022 will be rescheduled.
