NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS FOR ANNEXATION, LARGE SCALE FUTURE LAND USE MAP AMENDMENT AND REZONING

NOTICE is hereby given the City Commission of the City of Palatka, Florida, will hold a public hearing of the following Ordinances during its regular meeting on 6:00 PM on August 24, 2023 at City Hall, 201 N. 2nd St., Palatka, FL, 32177

 

Ordinance 2023-18 is as follows: AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PALATKA, FLORIDA ANNEXING INTO THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE CITY OF PALATKA, FLORIDA CERTAIN ADJACENT TERRITORY IDENTIFIED AS PT OF S1/2 OF NE1/4 + PT OF, NW1/4 OR759 P306 OR1074 P1819, PARCEL NO.: 09-10-26-0000-0010-0001, 7993 ST. JOHNS AVENUE, APPROXIMATELY 88.53 ACRES, CONTIGUOUS TO THE BOUNDARIES OF THE CITY OF PALATKA; PROVIDING FOR SCRIVENER’S ERRORS; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

Ordinance 2023-19 is for large scale amendment of the Future Land Use Map of the City of Palatka as follows: AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PALATKA, FLORIDA, PROVIDING THAT THE FUTURE LAND USE MAP OF THE ADOPTED COMPREHENSIVE PLAN BE AMENDED WITH RESPECT TO THE FOLLOWING PARCEL OF LAND (GREATER THAN 50 ACRES IN SIZE) FROM PUTNAM COUNTY URBAN RESERVE (UR) TO CITY OF PALATKA HIGH DENSITY RESIDENTIAL (HDR) AND COMMERCIAL (COM) FOR THE FOLLOWING PROPERTY: 7993 ST. JOHNS AVENUE, PALATKA, FL 32177, PT OF S1/2 OF NE1/4 + PT OF, NW1/4 OR759 P306 OR1074 P1819, PARCEL NO.: 09-10-26-0000-0010-0001, APPROXIMATELY 88.53 ACRES,  CONTIGUOUS TO THE BOUNDARIES OF THE CITY OF PALATKA; AND PROVIDING FOR SCRIVENER’S ERRORS; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

Ordinance 2023-20  as follows: AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PALATKA, FLORIDA, PROVIDING THAT THE ZONING BE AMENDED WITH RESPECT TO THE FOLLOWING PARCEL OF LAND (GREATER THAN 50 ACRES IN SIZE) FROM PUTNAM COUNTY AGRICULTURE (AG) TO CITY OF PALATKA PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT/MOBILE HOME/CONVENTIONAL HOME RESIDENTIAL AND COMMERCIAL (PUD/R-4/C-1) FOR THE FOLLOWING PROPERTY: 7993 ST. JOHNS AVENUE, PALATKA, FL 32177, PT OF S1/2 OF NE1/4 + PT OF, NW1/4 OR759 P306 OR1074 P1819, PARCEL NO.: 09-10-26-0000-0010-0001, APPROXIMATELY 88.53 ACRES, CONTIGUOUS TO THE BOUNDARIES OF THE CITY OF PALATKA; AND PROVIDING FOR SCRIVENER’S ERRORS, AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
