NOTICE is hereby given that the City Commission of the City of Palatka, Florida, will hear Ordinances 21-10, 21-11, 21-12, 21-13, 21-14 and 21-15 at its meeting on June 24, 2021 at 5:00 p.m. at the Putnam County School Board Meeting Room 200 Reid St., Palatka, FL 32177, and Ordinances 21-10, 21-12, 21-13 and 21-15 at its meeting on July 22, 2021 at 6:00 p.m. at City Hall, 201 N. 2nd ST., Palatka, FL. 

Ordinance No. 21-10 is for the annexation of an approximately 0.70-acre property into the City of Palatka as follows: 

AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PALATKA, FLORIDA ANNEXING INTO THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE CITY OF PALATKA, FLORIDA CERTAIN ADJACENT TERRITORY IDENTIFIED AS PROPERTY APPRAISER’S PARCEL ID: 13-10-26-0000-0550-0000, N 12 A OF E1/2 OF NE1/4 OF, SW1/4 (EX ORMAN-LEIGH ESTS), CONTIGUOUS TO THE BOUNDARIES OF THE CITY OF PALATKA; PROVIDING FOR SCRIVENER’S ERRORS; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

Ordinance No. 21-11 is for amendment of the Future Land Use Map of the City of Palatka:  

AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PALATKA, FLORIDA, PROVIDING THAT THE FUTURE LAND USE MAP OF THE ADOPTED COMPREHENSIVE PLAN BE AMENDED WITH RESPECT TO THE FOLLOWING PARCEL OF LAND (LESS THAN 10 ACRES IN SIZE): FROM PUTNAM COUNTY URBAN RESERVE (UR) TO CITY OF PALATKA RESIDENTIAL LIGHT (RL) FOR THE FOLLOWING PROPERTY: N 12 A OF E1/2 OF NE1/4 OF, SW1/4 (EX ORMAN-LEIGH ESTS), PROPERTY APPRAISER’S PARCEL ID: 13-10-26-0000-0550-0000, CONTIGUOUS TO THE BOUNDARIES OF THE CITY OF PALATKA; AND PROVIDING FOR SCRIVENER’S ERRORS; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

Ordinance No. 21-12 is for rezoning said property:  

AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PALATKA, FLORIDA PROVIDING THAT THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF PALATKA, FLORIDA BE AMENDED FROM PUTNAM COUNTY RESIDENTIAL -1 (R-1A) TO CITY OF PALATKA RESIDENTIAL-1 (R-1A) FOR THE FOLLOWING PROPERTY: N 12 A OF E1/2 OF NE1/4 OF, SW1/4 (EX ORMAN-LEIGH ESTS), PROPERTY APPRAISER’S PARCEL ID: 13-10-26-0000-0550-0000, PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; PROVIDING FOR SCRIVENER’S ERRORS; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

Ordinance No. 21-14 is for amendment of the Future Land Use Map of the City of Palatka:

Ordinance No. 21-15 is for rezoning of 2615 Husson Ave.:  

AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PALATKA, FLORIDA PROVIDING THAT THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF PALATKA, FLORIDA BE AMENDED FROM PUTNAM COUNTY AGRICULTURE (AG) TO CITY OF PALATKA RESIDENTIAL-SINGLE FAMILY (R-1A) FOR THE FOLLOWING PROPERTY: 2615 HUSSON AVE., PALATKA, FL 32177, PT OF SW1/4 OF SE1/4 OR316, P600, PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; PROVIDING FOR SCRIVENER’S ERRORS; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
